Journey of Hope Conference 2011

The Journey of Hope 2011 Conference is hosted by Lisa Duffy and Vince Frese, authors of the popular book, Divorced. Catholic. Now What? and Voices of Hope DVD presentation, as well as founders of DivorcedCatholic.Org. The website is a community where those suffering through a divorce can find accurate information, support, videos, podcasts, and much more to help ease the pain of divorce and find the path to healing.

DivorcedCatholic.Org is the culmination of more than 20 years combined personal and professional experience in dealing with divorce issues and how they relate to Catholics. On August 15, 2007, on the feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, DivorcedCatholic.com was born as Vince and Lisa joined forces with the desire of reaching the millions of men and women suffering through divorce and offering them answers to their questions, hope for true healing and a joyful future.

Lisa Duffy has more than 17 years of both personal and professional experience in helping others deal with their divorces. Born and raised in Southern California, Lisa suffered through the pain of being a divorced Catholic in the early 1990s and knew that after seven years intense struggle, spiritual growth, personal triumphs, and finally remarriage in the Church and the birth of three miracle children, her one desire was to help others who were suffering find hope and healing. Lisa has worked for the Church in a variety of roles, most recently in directing the Journey of Hope program in the Archdiocese of Atlanta for the past 7 years, which she authored and upon which this book was based.

Vince and Lisa host the "Journey of Hope RRadio Program" on BlogTalkRadio.Com, Thursdays at Noon EST, which addresses head-on the issues of those suffering from divorce.

Lisa has been featured on many radio programs including "Catholic Answers Live", "The Teresa Tomeo Show", Relevant Radio's "On Call with Wendy Wiese", Sirius Satellite Radio's "The Catholics Next Door" with Greg and Jennifer Willits, "Kresta in the Afternoon" with Al Kresta. She and Vince have appeared twice on EWTN's "Women of Grace" with Johnette Benkovic.

Lisa has given workshops for the North American Conference for Separated and Divorced Catholics (NACSDC, now Catholic Divorce Ministry CDM) national conference and a part of their speaker panel, and a weekend conference for the Diocese of Lexington, KY. She is currently the President of Journey of Hope Productions. Lisa lives in Georgia with her husband and three children.

Vince Frese, a lifelong Catholic, is a father, a ministry leader, a catechist, and a business leader. After experiencing first hand the pain and difficulty of divorce, Vince felt a calling to help serve other divorced Catholics. He has worked with the Archdiocese of Atlanta and the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to help create programs and resources for divorced Catholics. Vince founded the Embrace Ministry, a ministry serving the on-going needs of divorced, separated, and single-parent Catholics. Through this ministry he has hosted a variety of spiritual, educational, and social programs that have helped many Catholics rebuild their lives after divorce.

Vince and Lisa host the "Journey of Hope Radio Program" on BlogTalkRadio.Com, Thursdays at Noon EST, which addresses head-on the issues of those suffering from divorce.

Vince is Vice President for Journey of Hope Productions Corporation, and is active in his parish as a catechist, ministry head, and program facilitator. He has been President and CEO of Tridia Corporation, a software development company, for twenty years. He and Lisa have appeared twice on EWTN's "Women of Grace" with Johnette Benkovic.

Vince lives in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Monica, and their seven children.
